After he completed his law degree, he then spent a year living in Ottawa working as a law clerk at the Federal Court of Canada assisting judges with the cases on their docket, most of which related to judicial review of administrative decisions. After completing his articles in Ottawa, Zane married and moved back to Toronto to continue his career. Prior to joining Aaron Waxman & Associates in June of 2013, Zane worked in the personal injury and civil litigation department at a mid-size law firm in Toronto where he focused on personal injury and insurance related matters, and the occasional commercial dispute. Zane has appeared before the Federal Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and other administrative tribunals. Zane focuses his practice on employment law, long-term and short-term disability claims, car accident claims, traumatic brain injury claims, slip and fall claims and other types of personal injury matters. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Zane is grateful for the opportunity to work closely with accident victims, their families, and their team of treating professionals to develop strategies that maximize a client's medical and financial recovery. Zane is also thankful for the chance to provide assistance and advice to people with disabilities or other special needs that have treated unfairly by their employers or insurance companies.
