|Profile||Joy Mauthe is an associate of Ridout & Maybee LLP in the firm’s Ottawa office. Her practice is principally directed towards patent drafting and prosecution, with an emphasis on electrical, mechanical, and computer related technology. Joy works for a broad range of clients and has a special interest in figuring out how things work and how best to protect and enforce intellectual property rights for new technologies. Prior to commencing her legal career, Joy was a hardware designer and network engineer at a leading Canadian telecommunications firm.
Joy also practises in the areas of trade-mark prosecution and opposition proceedings, privacy law, copyright and licensing.
