ProfileIn times of personal and family crisis you need a lawyer who can understand what you are going through and help you get through it. This is expecially true in high-conflict situtations involving children. Chuck Easton has broad experience in this specialized area of family law. Chuck comes to family law after having been a police officer with the San Francisco Police Department for five years. In that role he saw many domestic conflicts in their beginnings, when people experience the intense raw emotion of a family unit breakup. Chuck brings his insight as a police officer into his family law practice, which is focused on high conflict parenting, custody, separation, and children's services matters. He has witnessed firsthand how these highly emotional times can affect an entire family and not just the people that are separating. Chuck graduated from the University of Calgary with an LLB in 2004 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2005. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from National University in San Diego, California. Since being called to the Bar Chuck was a Crown Prosecutor in the Youth Justice Unit for two years prior to moving exclusively to family law. He has been practicing family law for the past eight years.
