ProfileChantelle grew up in Newfoundland and Labrador, there she obtained her Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. After completing her undergraduate studies, Chantelle worked for the Nature Conservancy of Canada, a nonprofit land conservation organization where she helped to protect acres of pristine Newfoundland properties. Chantelle obtained her law degree from Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law in Halifax, Nova Scotia. During her second year of law school, Chantelle worked in Toronto as a law student with the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, a nonprofit legal and counselling clinic for women who have been victims of violence. There she was able to work one-on-one with clients; passionately advocating for their rights and facilitating their understanding of and access to the justice system. Since her call to the bar, Chantelle has gained significant experience conducting bails and trials in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Chantelle is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Criminal Lawyer's Association.
